CE marking

CE marking certifies that a unit meets the European Union's essential requirements at the time it is manufactured and sold — it's the responsibility of the appliance's manufacturer, not whoever collects it for recycling. We mention it for transparency: it's not a certification we issue, but a guarantee your unit already carries from the factory.

WEEE waste manager authorisation

We work with an authorised waste manager specifically licensed for WEEE and hazardous waste (air conditioners are classified as hazardous waste because of the refrigerant gas they contain). Their authorisation covers the LER codes for refrigeration and climate control equipment, and they hold a NIMA (Spanish Environmental ID Number).

Fluorinated gas handler certificate

Extracting the refrigerant gas requires personnel certified under Spanish RD 115/2017. You can find the full details on the fluorinated gases page.
