What data we collect and why

• "Value your unit" (photos and contact details): the photos you upload, your phone and/or email, and optionally brand, model and location (if your browser or the photos include location data). We use these to identify the unit, give you an estimated value, calculate pickup logistics, and send you the offer and recycling certificate via WhatsApp or email. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
• Virtual assistant (chat): the messages you type are processed to generate a real-time reply. Legal basis: legitimate interest in assisting you, and pre-contractual steps if you ask about a quote.
• Pickup form and bulk-lot proposals: the details you type (name, phone, email, notes) are used to open a WhatsApp message addressed to us directly — they never pass through our servers, and are handled within your own WhatsApp app.

Who we share your data with

We use an AI provider (Anthropic) to analyse device photos and generate the virtual assistant's replies, under a data processing agreement with appropriate safeguards for any international data transfer. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp/Meta's own privacy policy. We don't sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

How long we keep your data

Photos and valuation data are stored in a restricted-access private area (only Antonio and Vicente can access it, with a username and password), with a practical limit of the last 300 valuations — once that number is exceeded, the oldest entries are removed automatically. You can request deletion of your data before that limit at any time by writing to us.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to [email protected]. You can also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) if you believe we haven't handled your request correctly.

Security

The area where photos and valuation data are stored is protected with a username and password, and is not publicly accessible or indexed by search engines.

Minors

This service is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
