WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU and Spanish RD 110/2015

Electrical and electronic equipment, including climate control units, cannot be placed in regular waste bins. The WEEE Directive and its Spanish transposition (RD 110/2015) require separate collection and treatment, with control documentation for every delivery and a final treatment or recovery certificate.

At Chatarreros Hermanos we manage that entire chain: we collect your unit, deliver it to a manager authorised for WEEE and hazardous waste, and keep the corresponding control document and treatment certificate.

Waste transport

Transporting your unit to the authorised manager is carried out in line with current waste transport regulations in the Valencian Community and the other provinces where we operate (Murcia, Albacete, Valencia).

Recycling certificate

Once your pickup is complete, you can request the recycling certificate: the proof you can present to your residents' association, business or an administration showing the unit was treated in line with the regulations.
